Ecosystem in Tangkuban Perahu Mountain


What is biotic?

  • Biotic is a living or once living component of a community; for example organisms, such as plants and animals.


What is Abiotic?


  • Abiotic is a non-living component of a community; for example organisms, stone, sand, water, and soil.

What is Ecosystem?

  •  Ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment interacting as a system.


Plants above are the example of Biotic organism
Horse is a Biotic organism, because it's an animal

Mossy stones are the example of abiotic organism 

Some sand in the crater are the example of abiotic organism

The air in Tangkuban Perahu contains sulphur and it's not good for the plants. The plants are growing around the mountain and the stones as we can see on the picture above caused by moist soil. The air was so cold on the mountain because the mountain is at the high altitude. The high altitude has a cold air because air moving everytime. In a low altitude, the air has a solid particle, whereas, in a high altitude, the air hasn't a solid particle.
